Acacia floribunda

white sallow wattle, gossamer wattle

A tall dense shrub or small tree growing to a height of 6m. Long narrrow dark green phyllodes to 15cm long, often slightly curved. Abundant pale yellow ball-shaped flowers in winter and spring.

cultural notesAdaptable to most soils and prefering a shaded position. It naturally occurs along watercourses or where there is consistant water, but seems to tolerate dry conditions in a garden situation. Fast growing.
