A medium sixed tree growing to a height of 30m and spreading 15m. Rough greyish bark and ovate leaves to 9cm in length and 6cm in width. The leaves are quite rounded which gives the tree a dense crown.

cultural notesPrefers well drained moist soils in a sunny position.

flower colourFlower buds are yellow and club shaped, followed by profuse white flowers occuring in clusters. Fruit are green conical capsules.
foliage colourLeaves are blue-grey to pale green, and ovate in shape. They are prominantly midveined with slight undulations at the margins.
