grass trigger plant

Tufted perennial with grass-like foliage and clusters of pale pink to magenta flowers in spring and summer. Trigger plant are so named due to a trigger mechanism in the flower that reacts when an insect lands to deposit pollen onto the insect.

cultural notesPrefers moist, well drained soils in full sun or part shade.
toleratesDrought and frost tolerant. Will tolerate wet periods once established.
