revegetation services
The Far South Coast Landcare Association
has worked with Provincial Plants and Landscapes for a number of years on
revegetation projects. The services provided have included revegetation advice
and planning, planting and maintenance services and native tube stock supply.
We have found the services provided by Provincial Plants and Landscapes to be
friendly and highly professional, and the native tube stock to be of excellent
quality.
David Newell, Far South Coast
Landcare Coordinator, Bega NSW
Provincial have
collaborated with Cobargo Tourist & Business Association since 2001 for the
Narira Creek Revegetation Project, which was funded by a Natural Heritage Trust
Grant. Provincial's application to the task as consultants and project managers was very professional and they ensured liaison with the whole community. Provincial also donated many hours and extra plants to this project. Their interest and involvement did not cease with the conclusion of the funding. Once again they have donated plants, their time and expertise to the project for National Tree Day 27th July 2008.
Helen Stafford, Joint Project
Manager, Cobargo Tourist & Business Association, Cobargo NSW
As
the major environmental and landscape rehabilitation contractors involved with
the GDE project, CSP Landscaping (now Capital Landscape Contractors) worked
closely with Provincial over a period of three years. Throughout this important
and complex project, we found their overall approach to reflect a strong level
of professionalism, quality and timely service. As a result, we have continued
this professional working relationship through a range of other projects.
Provincial
propagated, supplied and planted over 200 000 native grasses and shrubs.
Provincial supplied plants within the framework of a detailed quality assurance
plan covering plant propagation, planting and maintenance practices. We were
impressed with the high calibre of knowledge provided by Provincial staff who
showed their expertise in undertaking large scale revegetation projects and in
using sustainable practices and water conscious products.
It
was important to our company that Provincial were able to deliver what they
promised – high quality service and plants, and on time. The plants were all in
good condition, and importantly were perfectly suited to the environmental and
revegetative needs of the site. Provincial followed through on their commitment
to provide this service from the initial concept to the final completion.
Shane Karchinsky and Karen Brien, Capital Landscape Contractors,
Lyneham ACT
I found
the professionalism and expertise of Provincial staff to be of a high quality
and was reassured by the knowledge that Provincial employs professionally
qualified ecologists, horticulturalists, environmental designers and seed
collectors. Provincial supplied almost 100 000 quality plants. Additionally, Provincial planted some 20,000
grasses and shrubs. They provided
species and planting advice and ongoing training to our many Conservation
Volunteers who have undertaken much of the planting alongside Provincial.
Provincial’s
professional working relationship and provision of services to Tidbinbilla is
continuing to bring the project to fruition. We value their ongoing
professionalism and commitment to providing quality service and contributing so
directly to improving Canberra’s
environment.
Helen Badger, Project Manager, IQON,

Able Landscaping has enjoyed varied plant supply and planting associations with
Provincial over the previous 3 years. They have worked with us on various projects such as the Kingston Foreshore Ecopond, Metropolitan apartments and most recently the West Belconnen High School Wetlands. Their professional conduct and ability to do what they say they’ll do is commendable. Friendly staff provide valuable information as required and make every effort to meet our needs. Provincial’s range and quality of plants are of the highest standards and hence we value our ongoing relationship with them. We
highly recommend Provincial for plant supply and planting projects.

urban landscapes
Provincial planted and maintained a
prominent urban landscape for us and showed the highest level of expertise,
professionalism and care. It’s good to deal with ‘can do’ people who know
what they’re doing and do what they say they’ll do.
Darren Dimoff, DZ designs and
landscapes, Queanbeyan NSW
The AWP group needed our display home
landscaped and Provincial stepped in and got the job done professionally and to
our deadline. They supplied great quality plants and made the planting
process easy. They listened to what we needed and provided excellent
advice and great service. It looks great!
Adam Pearse, AWP Group Property
Development, Jindabyne NSW
It can be a problem in this industry to
find suppliers you can rely on – not so with Provincial. They always deliver and are easy to work
with. You get a lot of extras from their
wealth of experience.
residential landscapes
Provincial recently helped us redevelop two
large lawn areas in our garden into two contemporary native gardens. They
provided expert advice for every stage of our project – site preparation, soil
improvement, native selection and planting, and ongoing garden care. Their
advice was balanced, clear and particularly invaluable. More importantly, their
plant suggestions were specifically tailored to our garden needs and its
broader design, and to the growing conditions here in Canberra. It was great to toss around
creative ideas in a relaxed and open way. Overall, it is wonderful to deal with
people who love what they do and make you feel they are partners in your
project. We’d certainly recommend Provincial to those interested in
establishing beautiful (drought tolerant) native gardens that are based on good
plant selections and advice.
Nathan Dickens, Duffy, ACT
Provincial had everything we needed to
create our dream garden – all in the one place.
Their expert advice on choosing the right plants that have held up to
water restrictions and still look beautiful was invaluable. Intuitive and inspiring garden design ideas
have really made a difference to how much enjoyment we get from our
garden. Top that with the most gorgeous
paving that feels fantastic to walk on (without burning our feet!) and our
lovely pots that have really added the final touch.
Provincial arranged and managed everything
with no fuss nor bother. They saved us a
lot of time running around trying to pull all the elements together. We saved a lot by using multiple products and
services and think we got the best job in town.
Thanks Provincial for your ability to listen and follow through on
making our dream a reality.
Lisa was extremely helpful when I
approached her about the selection of plants for my new garden. She suggested
plants which were water wise and took the time to look at my ideas adding her
expert knowledge and creativity. I have found her and the other staff friendly
and helpful in their service. The plants were well priced making large areas of
planting affordable. I love the fact that you can see the plants you are buying
growing on site! There are also a great range of landscaping ideas to see and
inspire you at Provincial Plants and Landscapes.
We found the process of working with
Provincial Plants and Landscapes to design our new garden to be practical and
inspiring. It gave us a framework to work with, many useful tips and plant
selection advice, and ideas of how to plant the garden in stages. Having expert
help rather than working out the whole design ourselves saved us time and
money, while still allowing us to have input in creating something beautiful.
We also purchased a range of healthy and drought-tolerant plants from
Provincial Plants and Landscapes and have consistently found the staff helpful
and friendly.
Jocelyn James, Little Burra NSW
The provincial team showed how even I could
be water wise! With stage 4 just around the corner I didn’t realise that I
could still have a great garden! With water restrictions here to stay I am
about to re-model my garden. Thank you Provincial, you have given me some great
ideas.
In establishing a garden for a new house I
was after drought resistant plants. this seemed like the most sensible option
in an environment of scarce water. I approached Provincial Landscapes who
listened to what we were wanting both in terms of the garden and our budget.
Lisa Roberts gave a thorough quote not only
giving a clear explanation of the various options regarding price but a full
outline of the plants she was proposing and why. Additionally she was able to
make some "value adds" by suggesting a water feature and other garden
decor, adding a pleasant "wow factor" to our garden.
Provincial Plants and Landscapes displayed
pride in their work and remained interested in the gardens establishment even
after the account was paid!
Colleen Hanrahan, Griffith ACT
Earthcraft Landscapes and Paving have
worked with Provincial on a number of projects and have found them to be both
professional and easy to work with.
Lisa’s designs are always functional and in harmony with its
surrounds. We look forward to further
projects with Provincial Plants and Landscapes utilising the brilliant range of
products they provide.
Murray Russell, Earthcraft

We contacted Lisa almost 2 years ago now to
produce a garden design for us which has progressed over that time to a full
garden design using all native species and incorporating the xeriscape
principles to ensure we have a low maintenance garden. Lisa took our ideas and created an
imaginative design which fits with our ideas and no fuss needs. When it came to planting the garden, we were
delighted to have a team of expert planters to ensure our new plants had the
best possible start in their new location.
Working with the team at Provincial Native
Plants has been a great experience. Each
person has a strong focus on the environment and the best possible outcome to
ensure minimal water use and suitability to the climate. The team members have great knowledge and are
happy to discuss ideas with you.
We are absolutely delighted with our new
landscaped garden. It is so pretty and
has attracted many comments from our neighbours and friends who have seen
it. We are looking forward to it
establishing well in spring and becoming a mature garden in time.
plant supply to industry
Urban Contractors have been dealing with
Provincial Plants and Landscapes for the last four years and in that time have
proven to be a company worthy of recommendation. Their professionalism and
expertise in plant supply are points we have become to rely on and look forward
to continuing the relationship for many years to come.
Simon Frowd, Urban Contractors,
Pialligo ACT
We’ve dealt with the team at Provincial
Plants and Landscapes many times and are always well looked after. Their
diverse range of plants and impeccable service are definitely what keep us
coming back.
Chris Welch, Business manager,
Downes Nursery, Sydney NSW
I always enjoy using plants from Provincial
- the quality is excellent, the advice is friendly and they provide native
plants from our region that can otherwise be hard to source. It is great to
find another business working towards achieving sustainability in landscape.
Jennie Curtis, Fresh Landscape, registered
landscape architect, Canberra ACT
decorative pots
Provincial has the best range of pots I
have seen in Canberra. It’s great to see something a bit different
with such interesting designs and finishes. – there are so many lovely items
that it’s hard to choose! I found their
catalogue with sizes and measurements really useful. Don’t waste your time looking anywhere else
for pots as you won’t find better quality or range.
Julie O’Brien, Narrabundah ACT
grass trees
Provincial’s grass trees are
spectacular! We shopped around comparing
price and quality and these stand out by a mile. I was particularly impressed that your
supplier holds plants over for a year before you get them to ensure they won’t
suffer transplant shock.
Ours have settled in well and really add a
special element to our garden – thanks for all your advice about planting and
caring for them.
Nicole Vandersteegen, Wapengo NSW
Maison pavers
Having been in the Landscaping and Pool
Industry for over 15 years now I have not seen a product quite like
Maison. Looking at any new product I am
a bit sceptical. But upon further investigation and learning how the Maison
product is made and its characteristics and properties and then actually it
trying it out and working with it I was pleasantly surprised. The finished
product is quite unique and stylish. The variety of Maison is so broad, that it
can be used in either formal or informal areas.
The associated products of Maison enhance the flavour of any new
landscape, and can be used to compliment existing ones. I give the Maison range
a big ‘Double Thumbs Up!
Peter Boehm - Aurora Landscaping and Pools, ACT
What a breath of fresh air! We’re so tired of using mass produced
concrete pavers with no soul – the Maison product range is distinctive and
suits lots of different landscape styles.
The fact they don’t get hot in summer or fade and go crumbly like
concrete does is impressive. We’ll be
recommending them to all our clients and look forward to working further with
both Provincial and the Maison range of products.
