exceptional, hand crafted pots create a statement

They’re hand pressed or moulded which means high quality.  Each item is attended to with detail to ensure strength and durability using premium materials.  Pots are constructed with  solid walls to ensure their longevity.

This process also means that each pot is slightly different, created by an artisan’s hand, so each product is unique. Our glazes and finishes are unsurpassed in quality, range and for visual interest  -  and they’re individually applied by hand. Our pots are high fired (or cooked at very high temperatures) in wood fired kilns using rice husks.  The high temperatures create a very strong finish and an ability to withstand extreme temperature conditions.  Your pots won’t crack in the frost or have their glaze fade in the sun!

distinctive styles to suit all tastes

Our collection is impressive and there is a distinctive style, colour or size of decorative pot to suit every situation.  Whether your taste is for timeless, classical or the very latest in new and fashionable styles, you’ll find what you’re looking for.

Styles include Old Stone, Atlantis, Terrazzo, Specialty Glazes and Sandstone. Our environmental designers are happy to assist you in the selection process

Whether you want to create a dynamic focal point in a foyer, dress up a deck, balcony or courtyard or add interest to your lounge room, you’ll find the solution with Provincial’s distinctive, handcrafted products.

create your own water feature

Almost any pot on display can be easily transformed into an attractive water feature.  As all pots have been fired at extremely high temperatures, none really need sealing for general use.

Do it yourself using the tips below or contact us to create your water feature, supply your decorative pebbles and aquatic plants.

The following products and methods can be used for sealing or creating water features in ANY pot.  All sealants are available from Provincial.

terracotta pots

‘Crommelin Ornamental Sealer’ is a clear water based sealer for pots and water features, available in a trigger spray. Follow manufacturers’ instructions.

atlantis pots

These should be sealed internally and externally. For best results use ‘Gripset 51’ inside and a gloss paver sealant outside.

old stone pots

First, fill all drainage holes at the base with ‘Aqua Knead It’ (sets hard like cement).  Next paint the inside with three coats of ‘Crommelin Pond Sealer'

(Clear) as per the manufacturers instructions.

For highly porous or rough surfaces, you can use one of the ‘Pond Sealer’ coloured range of membranes. ‘Pond Sealer’ is a non-toxic, pH neutral, water based permanent solution to seal fishponds and ornamental pools.

tall or deep pots

To create a water feature in a tall or deep pot (eg. Glazed temple jar), simply connect a paint brush to a broom handle or similar to reach inside and apply ‘Crommelin Pond Sealer’.
