Description: This Beautiful Banksia is a medium shrub tree with a spreading canopy and gorgeous lemon-coloured flowers filled with nectar, making it wildlife attracting. It can withstand a broad range of habitats, found from Victoria to Central Queensland. A versatile and adaptive native.

Origin: Australia, East Coast.

Cultural notes: Prefers full sun. Water in well when planting, keep the soil moist until tree establishes. Prune if needed after the flowering season, this will maintain a tidy look to the tree.

Tolerates: Is tolerant of frost and coastal conditions such as high sand and salt amounts.

Flowering type and season: Large cylindrical-shaped flowers with a lemon-yellow colouring. Flowers in spring, autumn and winter.

Foliage type and colour: Leaves are long and green with a white underside. The foliage of whorled in shape, have 3-5 leaves sprouting from each node.

Soil type: Well-draining, moist soil preferred. Most soil types and pH levels are tolerated.
