Cultural notes: Full sun, boggy conditions, fast-growing, long lived, very hardy.

Tolerates: Inundations and periodic dry periods.

Flower colour: Yellow/green clustered on drooping flower spikes

Foliage colour: Mid-green, rough textured and sharp edge leaf blades.

Recommended uses: Ornamental sedge used in constructed wetlands. Also provides habitat for water birds and may be used for poolside plantings.
