Cultural notes: Full sun, most soil conditions, fast growing, long lived, very hardy.

Maintenance: May be pruned annually to remove spent flower heads.

Tolerates: Drought conditions and damp areas.

Flowering season: Spring through to summer.

Flower colour: Purple star shaped flowers born on long flower spikes, followed by attractive purple berries.

Foliage colour: Green strap like leaves.

Height: Up to 1m

Plant spacing: 30cm apart for mass planting or 50cm apart for specimen planting.

Recommended uses: Ornamental ideal for landscaping, excellent in rockeries, bird attracting berries.

Description: Evergreen perennial with attractive star-shaped purple flowers.
