Origin: ALL STATES OF AUSTRALIA EXCERPT TASMANIA.

Cultural notes: Inhabits grassy wetlands. Requires moist heavy soils, but will tolerate dry periods during summer. Will grow in full sun or part shade.

Maintenance: Remove spent flower stems.

Tolerates: Frost, innundation.

Flowering season: Winter

Flower colour: Pale coloured cylindrical spikelets to 2cm in length.

Foliage colour: Pale green to blue, with prominent longitudinal ribs.

Width: up to 0.2m

Height: up to 0.5m

Water depth: edges and marshland

Plant spacing: 10cm apart

Recommended uses: Revegetation.

Description: Perennial rush forming dense tufts. Distinguishable by prominent longitudinally ribbed bluish stems.
