Cultural notes: Full sun, long lived, very hardy.

Maintenance: Prune to remove spent seed heads.

Tolerates: Frosts and long dry periods.

Flower colour: Spikey blue-purple bracts borne on purple stems.

Foliage colour: Narrow green spiny leaves.

Height: Up to 0.4m

Plant spacing: 10cm apart

Recommended uses: Excellent landscape plant for rockeries, mass plantings and floral arrangements.
