Origin: SOUTH AFRICA

Cultural notes: Fast-growing, very hardy and long lived. Will grow in full sun or part shade in most soil conditions.

Maintenance: May be pruned annually to remove spent seed heads (late summer) and to promote new growth.

Tolerates: Drought & frost hardy.

Flowering season: Late spring through to summer.

Flower colour: Blue to creamy straw.

Foliage colour: Intensely blue/grey fine leaves forming a tight globe of narrow glaucous foliage.

Height: Up to 0.3m

Plant spacing: 30cm apart for mass planting.

Recommended uses: Ornamental grass ideal for landscaping, best effect when mass planted, can be used as a border or along paths and looks great in pots or in rockeries. It is a good non-invasive groundcover.
