Cultural notes: Prefers moist well-drained soils in a protected position in part shade.

Maintenance: Remove any blades that revert to solid green.

Tolerates: Moderately frost tolerant.

Flower colour: Silvery white seed heads to 20cm in length.

Foliage colour: Leaves are green at the base fade into and bright crimson or burgundy at the tips.

Recommended uses: The striking colour of the foliage makes this species great as an accent plant or in mass plantings, along borders or around water features.
