Description: A beautiful medium-sized flowering plum with ascending branches. It is a deciduous tree. The foliage starts as a soft red and develops into a deep purple through maturity. Flowering occurs through spring with a stunning array of white blossoms along its branches. The bark is a very dark shade, almost black.

Origin: Asia, a cultivar from Australia.

Cultural notes: Prefers full sun. Pruning is not usually required for this species, but if needed, do so after flowering. This species is wildlife attracting.

Tolerates: Hight frost tolerance and tolerates drought well.

Flowering type and season: Pale pink flowers cover the branches of the tree through spring. Small plums are grown on this tree.
