Description: A deciduous tree that grows in a medium size with a conical shape. Foliage is green, which turns into vibrant reds and oranges during autumn. In spring, small white blossoms appear over its canopy, making this a lovely feature tree.

Origin: China, Vietnam.

Cultural notes: Full sun is preferred. Water in well after planting and keep the soil moist until the plant establishes. Prune and fertilise when planting will encourage new growth. This tree is low maintenance.

Tolerates: Resistant to disease and wind damage.

Flowering type and season: Small white flowers appear in springtime, followed by small inedible fruit.

Foliage type and colour: Foliage is bright green, turn colours of red and purple through autumn before falling. Leaves are an oval shape.

Soil type: Well-Draining soil is preferred. Grows well in humus-rich soil.
