Flower colour: Abundant purple flowers in sprays. In a good season, the flowers can almost obscure the foliage.
Foliage colour: The leaves are small and dark green. They are oval in shape but can vary in width to be quite broad or narrow. Foliage is aromatic.

Height: Up to 2.5m
Plant spacing: 50cm apart
Recommended uses: The most common of the mint bushes. Attractive when in flower. Good along paths where the aroma is released when brushed against.
